The University of North Georgia (成人B站) Corps of Cadets won a pair of awards for 2020-21 at the (AUSA) annual meeting in October.

成人B站 received the Most Active Company honor and the Best Activities to Enhance the Community award. Both honors rank 成人B站, which is one of six senior military colleges in the United States, atop the 270 ROTC companies nationwide.

"The cadets focus every day on developing their character and leadership. The two AUSA awards this year are indicative of their hard work and dedication to academic success and impactful leadership," retired Col. Joseph Matthews, commandant of cadets, said. "These cadets will be ready to lead successfully on graduation day, whether in the military, government or civilian career fields."

AUSA presents the Most Active Company to ROTC units with the most cadet company-sponsored activities, including meetings, public service programs, military instruction meetings and exercises, and membership recruiting efforts.

Accepting the award for 成人B站 were Matthews; Col. Bryan Kirk, professor of military science; cadet company commander Capt. Terrance Dorsey; and cadet brigade command Sgt. Maj. Jordan Armstrong.

Each award included a $3,000 check from Lockheed Martin for the Corps of Cadets.

AUSA is the Army's professional association and advocacy organization. The group's values of excellence, innovation, and integrity align with 成人B站's academic and leadership development mission.
