Le Belle Voci
Le Belle Voci (LBV), the University of North Georgia's (成人B站's) select treble ensemble, was founded in fall 2001and has performed throughout the United States and abroad. specializes in performing women's music spanning a wide variety of musical genres.
The ensemble has performed for GMEA conventions in 2006 & 2016 as well as the Georgia ACDA Convention in 2021at Spivey Hall. The group has performed to much acclaim, with Georgia composer Rick Bartlett recently commenting, “thank you for embracing my music and the stunning performance of the premiere of the women's version of Breathe On Me, Day. Both works were beautifully presented with great balance and harmony. I couldn't have asked for a better performance of either. Your small group pulled out all the stops for a 'big group sound' for your entire program and did a fantastic job!”
The choir is open to any female through a rigorous audition process (the ability to sight-read is a must) and is offered for one hour of college credit.
